Differentiation of trypsin-like enzymes in human plasma.
نویسنده
چکیده
The arginine amidase and arginine esterase activity of human plasma is compared with that of trypsin, thrombin, plasmin, and kallikrein by using the homologous synthetic amino acid substrates, benzoyl arginine amide (BAA) and benzoyl arginine ethyl ester (BAEE). Hydrolyses of BAA and BAEE in plasma are distinguished by several features: pH optimum, heat stability, storage stability, effect of dilution, surface contact activation, streptokinase activation, inhibition by proteolytic enzyme inhibitor, and range of normal variation. The differential sensitivity of trypsin, throm. bin, plasmin, and kallikrein toward these substrates and the similarity in reaction characteristics of plasma-BAA and trypsin-BAA provide evidence that the arginine amidase activity of plasma represents trypsin, while the arginine esterase activity of plasma is nonspecific.

Abstract Background: Adipose tissue is being used word-wide as a suitable adult stem cell source the aim of this study was to examine the possibility of using different enzymes to isolate the human mesenchymal stem cells from adipose tissue. Methods: Adipose tissues which were obtained from liposuction surgery were transferred to the laboratory under sterile conditions. All samples obtained...
متن کاملOptimization and Construction of Human Insulin-like Growth Factor 1 Gene related to human health
Background and aims: Laron syndrome is a disease that treated by Insulin-like Growth Factor 1 (IGF-1). This protein is a single chain and has three disulfide bonds. People with Laron syndrome have low rates of cancer and diabetes, although they appear to be at increased risk of casual death due to their stature. IGF-1 is synthesized by many tissues and is secreted from liver as an endocrine hor...

Gastrointestinal ontogenetic studies constitute one of the basic and important investigations related to the nutrition of aquatic animals. In this investigation, specimens of the western white shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) at different developmental stages (from nauplius 1 to postlarvae 120) were assayed for the activities of digestive enzymes. According to the results, at all developmental sta...

ABSTRACT Background and Objective: Multipotent placental amniotic membrane mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are capable of differentiating into specialized tissues under different conditions. The aim of this study was to induce differentiation of placental amniotic membrane MSCs from NMRI mouse into hepatocytes using liver extract. &nb...
متن کاملStudies on renin activation in normal human plasma.
The phenomenon of plasma renin activattion by acid dialysis and preincubation with trypsin was studied in normal human plasma. Activation of plasma renin by exposure to pH 3.3 was shown to require at least one dialysis step and could be inhibited by the presence of Trasylol, indicating the involvement of a protease in acid activation. Amniotic fluid exposed to pH 1.5 to destroy renin and renin ...
